The Master's in Human Resources and Knowledge Management at the Jean Piaget University Cape Verde offers solid training with an advanced level of knowledge that allows you to develop skills, focused on people management, necessary for defining policies and strategies for organizational success.

Objectives

• Train professionals with technical, operational, and strategic skills for proficient performance in the areas of human resource and knowledge management in organizations.
• Equip professionals with strategic and executive thinking to analyze the impact of human resource and knowledge management measures, as well as complex trends and phenomena, within an integrated and systemic organizational management framework.
• Prepare professionals to use modern human resource and knowledge management techniques, based on new technologies and the potential of the information society.

Entry Profile

• Graduates in the areas of Economics, Management, Psychology, Sociology, Engineering, and Law who wish to acquire a more solid and in-depth education.
• Other suitable applications may also be evaluated, belonging to professionals who aspire to have and/or deepen their knowledge in these areas, following a curriculum analysis and a possible interview by the Scientific Council (or a selection jury) of Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde.

Employability

Possible areas of employment: human resource management in public and private institutions, administrative management of ministries, multinational companies, higher education institutions, hotel and tourism agencies, communication companies, consulting firms, and non-governmental organizations.

Organization

This course is structured into four semesters, totaling 120 credits. The first two semesters are fully dedicated to the curricular component, totaling 60 credits. Students who successfully complete the curricular component can obtain a Postgraduate diploma or continue their studies in the remaining semesters (third and fourth, totaling 60 credits) with the preparation of a Master's dissertation or the development of a project work accompanied by a descriptive report. Both the dissertation and the project must be presented before a jury in a public defense.
