On 21 and 22 November, some members of UniPiaget have participated in the fourth edition of the ‘TransIbérica’ Congress, a relevant meeting in the field of Translation organized by the University of Warsaw. This year's specialized thematic field was the relationship between Translation and Artificial Intelligence.

Professor Rebeca Castañer and translator and interpreter Daisy Pimentel, a graduate of the LTI program, and Professor Juan Hernández presented a plenary lecture. Professor Wlodzimierz J. Szymaniak and Professor José Carlos Gonçalves (also a member of the Congress Scientific Council) have also participated in the event.

The intellectual solvency of the Congress and the transfer of the results to society were

guaranteed thanks to the variety of topics covered in the program and the quality of the presentations in the field of Translatology and AI.

The participation of UniPiaget in the meeting is the result of its various academic partnerships with several international academic partnerships, in particular the visit of Professors Edyta Waluch and Francisco Díaz Bretones from the University of Granada, Spain, to our institution in February of this year.
