Objectives
The course aims to offer professionals the opportunity to complement their experience with specific and up-to-date knowledge. For recent graduates, it provides an in-depth education to prepare them for work in a highly specialized and competitive context.

Entry Profile
The candidate for the Master's Degree in Specialized Journalism must meet the requirements defined by Cape Verdean legislation, fulfilling the conditions for admission to postgraduate education, that is, holding a higher education degree that confers a Bachelor's degree.
Thus, candidates with degrees in various scientific areas who wish to acquire skills to perform technical functions, and/or administration, supervision, and management in the media and information field, formal and informal, will be accepted.
Employability
Newsrooms in media organizations (radio, television, print media). Institutions involved in supervision, coordination, evaluation, and quality of information. Another possible professional outlet is communication offices of companies, institutions, or non-governmental and international organizations.
