ENTRY PROFILE
Applicants to the course must meet the requirements set out in Cape Verdean legislation, fulfilling the following conditions for entry to higher education, have completed the 12th year of secondary education or equivalent. Applicants are required to have taken the core subjects of Chemistry and Biology in the 12th grade or have in these areas.
Applicants over the age of 25 who do not have completed the 12th grade, along with the seminar, will be subjected to an interview or test, as decided by the jury appointed for this purpose. In the analysis of the entry profile, the candidate must demonstrate an interest in issues related to Health Sciences in general, Pharmacy and the world of medicines in particular, and a sensitivity to public health, in all the socio-professional spheres in which it is developed, from direct attention to research to the sectoral application of pharmaceutical knowledge in different productive spheres.
PROFESSIONAL OPORTUNITY
As can be seen from the study plan, the graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences is par excellence the Technician of the medicament, training for the professional exercise in this area and all its aspects.
The graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences is qualified for professional practice in workshop pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, health technicians and other areas of interest that may arouse in the graduate, such as the area of research and development, taking into account the different areas of training that gives him a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
