Considering the profound changes that the Cape Verdean State and Society are experiencing, but also the difficulty and need to train active citizens involved in the construction of a modern society, a democratic State and the rule of law, the Law course offers students the necessary tools to respond to such demands and challenges.

The Law Course at the Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde aims to train competent professionals in Law, as well as enabling in-depth additional training and inter- and transdisciplinary research in the field of legal sciences.

The Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde has already been teaching several legal subjects integrated into different courses.

The course seeks to train professionals capable of responding adequately to new challenges in the field of legal sciences, imposed both by globalization, which marks the world, and by the demands and development prospects of Cape Verde, within the framework of a democratic rule of law that seeks to consolidate and in which a favorable legal and institutional environment and legal culture constitute a relevant factor for success.
