Last Friday, August 2nd, Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde held a ceremony to celebrate the graduation of its new graduates. The event took place in the university's Almeida Santos Auditorium and marked the culmination of years of work and dedication by the students.
The ceremony was attended by the Rector, Dr. Joanita Rodrigues, and Professor and Master Emília Monteiro Tavares, who gave a speech on behalf of the administrator Sandra Pires. Also present were faculty members and the graduates' families.
In her opening speech, the Rector delivered a motivational address, praising the students' efforts and emphasizing the importance of education for personal and professional growth. “Today is a day to celebrate and recognize all the effort each of you has put in over these years,” said the Rector. “We are very proud to see our students graduating and ready to contribute to society and beyond.”
Next, Master Emília Monteiro, representing administrator Sandra Pires, congratulated the graduates and highlighted the importance of continued learning. “Today’s diploma is just the beginning of a new phase. Keep seeking knowledge and challenging yourselves, as the world is always changing,” said the professor.
In total, 114 students graduated in the fields of Social Sciences, Engineering, Economics, and Health. Each of them received warm applause from their families and peers.
With the graduation of this new class, Jean Piaget University reaffirms its commitment to providing quality education and preparing skilled professionals to face future challenges.
