The Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde hosted, on May 21, the first official DELE examination (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) in Cape Verde, marking a historic moment for the teaching and certification of the Spanish language in the country.

The exam took place at UniPiaget’s facilities, the first official DELE examination center in Cape Verde, bringing together candidates interested in obtaining the international certification issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education.

The organization of this first examination represents an important step in strengthening the Spanish language in Cape Verde and promoting academic, cultural, and linguistic relations between Cape Verde and Spain. The initiative also confirms UniPiaget’s commitment to internationalization and the promotion of foreign language education.
