On April 30, the Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde held the UniPiaget 25 Years Jubilee Distinctions for External Merit ceremony, under the theme “Recognizing Partnerships, Valuing Contributions, and Projecting the Future”.

The initiative aimed to recognize personalities, institutions, and external partners who, over the years, have made significant contributions to the development, recognition, and impact of UniPiaget.

The distinctions awarded represented a gesture of institutional gratitude, highlighting merit, partnership, and commitment to the development of higher education in Cape Verde.

During the ceremony, the University paid tribute to a personality whose trajectory is closely linked to the very construction of the institution’s academic excellence, Engineer António Augusto Gonçalves.

The event was marked by public recognition of the honorees’ contributions to the growth and consolidation of UniPiaget throughout its 25 years of existence.
