From June 3 to 7, the Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde welcomed Professor Penka Hristova from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, for a lecture on the Erasmus+ program.

Targeting 3rd and 4th year Translation and Interculturality students, Professor Hristova discussed topics such as multilingualism in the European Union and Bulgaria, language policies, and English-medium instruction. The objectives included understanding the higher education system in Cape Verde, exploring attitudes towards foreign languages, and strengthening academic partnerships to promote intercultural understanding.

Professor Hristova visited São Domingos Municipality, tourist spots, and met with the Mayor to discuss future collaborations. The Erasmus+ mobility enhanced international cooperation and educational enrichment, underscoring Jean Piaget University's commitment to internationalization and diverse educational experiences.
